Codes of Practice

The OPL Sector was heavily involved in the preparation of BS8446 regarding the Installation of Laundry Machinnery. This BS is based on a 'Code of Practice' which is available at the link below. Although this has been superceded by BS8446 it might be of interets to those who are not familiar with Bristish Standards

The DryCleaning Sector, in conjuction with Defra has prepared a Code of Conduct to confirm that all drycleaning machinery installed by SLEAT Member Companies meets the minimum requirements of the SED Directive
